My Story

Love the plant. Honor its power. Elevate the experience.

Hi, I’m Teresa — founder of THC² and Co., a woman-led cannabis consulting and wellness practice rooted in love, education, and respect for the plant.

I’m a Certified Ganjier, a legal homegrower under New York’s medical cannabis program, and a caregiver for my daughter and others. My relationship with cannabis runs deep — as medicine, as movement, as connection.

For over two decades, I’ve worked in business operations, education, and care. I’ve built a life around plants, healing, and creating safe, empowering spaces for others — especially those who have been left out or left behind in mainstream cannabis.

Through THC² and Co., I bring together my knowledge of cultivation, wellness, and event production to help individuals and communities connect more intentionally with cannabis. Whether I’m offering private guidance, sensory experiences, or producing 'Elevate Wellness', everything I do is grounded in compassion, transparency, and care.

My Approach

This isn’t corporate cannabis. This is rooted cannabis.

Cannabis is a sacred and powerful plant. I believe it should be approached with humility, knowledge, and love.

My work isn’t about hype — it’s about helping people build trust with their medicine. Whether you’re a patient, a caregiver, a curious newcomer, or a dispensary looking to curate with care, I meet you where you are. I offer honest education, grounded support, and sensory-driven insight so you can feel confident in your choices.

I center around:

  • Transparency – Know how your plant is grown. Know what’s in your remedy.

  • Education – Learning leads to empowerment. I share what I’ve learned, and keep learning alongside you.

  • Intention – Whether it’s a tincture, a tasting, or an event, it’s designed with thought and purpose.

  • Care – As a caregiver and connoisseur, I treat every person and every plant with reverence.

The Certified Ganjier is a trained cannabis professional — a sommelier-style guide who brings deep knowledge, sensory refinement, and trusted insight to the world of cannabis.

The certification includes two key steps:

  1. Ganjier Product Specialist (GPS)– This online foundational program covers cannabis product types, quality indicators, consumption methods, and storage. It prepares students with a standardized, industry-recognized understanding of cannabis form factors and best practices.

  2. Certified Ganjier (CG) – Building on that foundation, this advanced designation requires in-person training in Humboldt County, followed by three rigorous exams: a written test, a live service role-play, and a sensory evaluation using the Ganjier’s Systematic Assessment Protocol™ (SAP™). The training develops your ability to assess aroma, flavor, appearance, and effect with accuracy and confidence.

But certification is more than credentials — it's a lifelong journey of stewardship, integrity, and community-led learning. The Ganjier program is guided by the Ganjier Council, a collective of 18+ pioneers and knowledge carriers — including luminaries such as Kevin Jodrey, Swami Chaitanya, Nikki Lastreto, Mel Frank, Amanda Reiman, Jeffrey Raber, Wendy Kornberg, Nick Tanem, Omar Figueroa, Genine Coleman, Alec Dixon, Derek Gilman, Josh Wurzer, Kimberly Hooks, Aaron Varney, Patrick King, and Frenchy Cannoli (RIP) — all contributing decades of expertise across cultivation, science, policy, processing, and sensory training.

A Certified Ganjier not only brings technical knowledge — they bring a dedication to quality, care, and conscious guidance, helping patients, caregivers, brands, and consumers make informed and meaningful cannabis choices.
